- Your rated Non-Smoker case can now be issued as a (standard) Non-Smoker
- Your rated Smoker case can now be issued Standard

| Requirements |
- The case would normally be rated Table 4 or less OR
- The case would normally be rated $5.00 per thousand or less (for medical impairments only)
- Single life permanent insurance plans only (including Term blends)
- Maximum issue age 65
- U.S. or Canadian citizen
- Maximum face amount: $5 million

Any case that does not qualify for this new ESP will be shopped to Guardian’s reinsurers in the normal manner.
When you are faced with a case that is likely to be rated, this will give you an expanded ability to place Guardian insurance.
