Do I have to be contracted before submitting an app?
Usually not. In Illinois and most states, we are permitted to submit an application even if you are not yet contracted. In these instances, you are welcome to do the contracting paperwork in advance if you like, but we can submit your first application along with your contracting papers --- and the case can be underwritten while your producer code is "pending."
